Catch the good vibes with The Mighty Green on Sunday, JUNE 7th, 2026

The Mighty Green

The historic Arcadia Round Barn will come alive with the sounds of roots reggae on Sunday, June 7th, as The Mighty Green takes the stage for a free afternoon concert as part of the Sunday Elm Tree Concert Series.

Oklahoma City-based The Mighty Green is known for delivering authentic 1970s roots reggae, reggae-rock, and fresh reggae-inspired takes on classic rock favorites. Led by singer-songwriter Marco Tello and lead vocalist John Green, the four-piece band also features Don Hecker on bass and Dusty Douglas on drums. Their high-energy live performances blend lush harmonies, positive vibes, original songs, and crowd-pleasing covers into a memorable musical experience.

The free concert begins at 1 p.m. under the shade of the historic elm tree on the north side of the Arcadia Round Barn, located six miles east of Interstate 35 along historic Route 66.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or enjoy seating at the picnic tables while soaking in an afternoon of live music and community fellowship. The museum inside the Round Barn will also be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“The Mighty Green delivers the kind of music that makes people smile, relax, and enjoy the moment,” Round Barn Music Director Joe Baxter said. “We’re excited to welcome everyone out for another great afternoon of music at the Round Barn.”

All Sunday Elm Tree Concerts are free and open to the public. Donations are welcomed and appreciated and help support the ongoing maintenance and preservation of the historic Arcadia Round Barn.

The Sunday Elm Tree Concert Series features live acoustic performances in a relaxed outdoor setting and is sponsored by the Arcadia Historical & Preservation Society.
