ARCADIA, Okla. — Award-winning Oklahoma family band The McKedys will perform an afternoon of traditional country, bluegrass, and classic Americana music on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the historic Arcadia Round Barn. The concert is free and open to the public.

Known for preserving the timeless sounds of classic country music, The McKedys have become one of Oklahoma’s favorite family bands. The group features siblings Mackynsie and Austin McKedy, joined by their father, Byron McKedy, blending rich family harmonies with exceptional musicianship and heartfelt performances.

Mackynsie McKedy is an accomplished singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose fiddle playing and engaging stage presence have earned statewide recognition. She was named the 2026 Cowtown Society of Western Music Rising Star and the 2023 Country Beats Radio Female Artist of the Year. She has also gained recognition through her participation in the Miss Oklahoma pageant.

Austin McKedy brings a passion for classic country as a singer, songwriter, and musician, performing on mandolin, guitar, and harmonica. His original songs, including Leave a Mark and Breaking Horses and Hearts, showcase his deep appreciation for traditional country storytelling while adding his own contemporary voice.

Rounding out the trio is Byron McKedy, whose steady guitar work and years of musical experience provide the foundation for the family’s authentic sound. Together, The McKedys have performed throughout Oklahoma and have had the opportunity to play at the legendary Grand Ole Opry, bringing their love of traditional American music to audiences of all ages.

Concertgoers can expect an afternoon filled with classic country favorites, bluegrass standards, original songs, and warm family harmonies in the unique setting of one of Oklahoma’s most treasured historic landmarks.

The Arcadia Round Barn is located at 107 E. Highway 66 in Arcadia, Oklahoma. Seating is provided, but guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs for additional outdoor seating if needed.
